Donna was born in Ironton Ohio and moved to Brevard County, Florida at the age of three. Donna has always enjoyed the outdoors and nature, which inspired her love for art. Her new works are taken from the swamps around the St. Johns River. Many years of fishing and hiking in this area exposed her to the beauty of the swamps. Her art reflects her love of line and color. Abstraction of some of the paintings comes from the varied angles of looking across the landscape during different times of the day and varied weather conditions. A trip into the swamps is alluring any time of the year. You never know what you might come upon.
